I was born into a shopping mall, passing through the canal of stores separating Macy’s from JCPenney. I learned to be in a body by adopting various regiments of care. I practiced choreographed motions associated with different products. And, in wandering through the endless store aisles and digitized shopping cart icons, I cultivated my most intimate and enduring relationship.
